Mind-blowing...

“This book majorly changed my life and the way I look at the world. It is my favorite book ever (and it unseated The Illuminatus! Trilogy to get this position).

Basically, it's a book about a biowarfare accident, in which germs that are intended to "cripple the target without destroying buildings" (by disabling the residents' linguistic abilities) escape. Unlike most biowarfare books, this one manages to portray it in a positive manner (can't say more without giving away major pieces of the plot). That's what makes it so mind-blowing.

I've given this book to a lot of people (in fact, I need to replace the copy I just gave a friend) and found that most people either really love it or really hate it. The people who hate it tend to take themselves too seriously. ;-)”

“Just a Couple of Days by Tony Vigorito is an absolutely incredible book!

It's about a (fictitious) virus called the Pied Piper virus that destroys the language capacity of the human brain (not like in Snow Crash though).

You'll either hate the ending or love it. I loved it (as do most of my friends).

Seriously, this is my favorite book, it resolved the tie between Stranger in a Strange Land and The Illuminatus! Trilogy by beating both of them...”
